Holiday season is upon us and it’s time to wrap up the year before the Christmas pause.
OCRICOM’s year was quite eventful, although we weren’t as active on posting as we’d like.
There were some challenges:
- Autumn was a drill of not so optimal equipment situation
- Related to that, we made the first ever cancellation, as we couldn’t deliver
- And, the owners balanced between growing the business and enjoying parental leave with our firstborn
Despite these, the year 2025 was good for us, with a few mentionable highlights:
- Susanna started as a full-time co-entrepreneur in March
- We had a successful Exhibition in OPD2025 in Oulu
- We grew our headcount to three, when Helmer started as a process engineer in August
- We had a chance to visit Vilnius to see I-Photonics’ premises and systems
- We continued fruitful collaboration with Swiss Cluster and plan to visit them in the first half of 2026
